Policies
Clear standards that help us serve safely, honourably, and in compliance with the law.
Our Standards
-
Child Protection Policy
Gospel Light maintains a safe environment for children participating in church activities on-site and off-site. Abuse or neglect is treated as sin and crime; reports are taken seriously.
- Scope: all endorsed activities for persons under 18.
- At least two unrelated adults supervise children's activities (one adult for youth 12–18).
- Reporting Team: Kenii Takashima (Legal Counsel), Irene Louis (Counsellor), Pastor Jason Lim (Board of Elders).
- Contact: 9117 6000 or shine@gospellight.sg (Mon–Fri, 8am–5pm).
-
Whistleblowing Policy
Channels for staff, members, and external parties to raise concerns about financial malpractice, harassment, conflicts of interest, or breaches of church policy — without fear of retaliation.
- Email: whistleblow@gospellight.sg
- Post: Church Committee Chairman, 39 Punggol Field Walk #05-00, Singapore 828753
- General service complaints should go to ministry leaders or pastors — not the whistleblowing channel.
-
Data Protection (PDPA)
Personal data is collected and used responsibly for church ministry, communications, and compliance with Singapore law.
-
Volunteer Code of Conduct
Those who serve across ministries are expected to live with integrity, maintain appropriate boundaries, and protect confidentiality.
-
Facility Use
Booking, safety, and conduct standards for church premises, equipment, and off-site activities endorsed by Gospel Light.
-
Social Media & Communications
Guidelines for honouring Christ in church-related messaging, media use, and online presence.
