The Bible was written to reveal who God is, so that we may enjoy God and His Word. The Old and New Testaments tell one story — creation, fall, redemption, and restoration — with Jesus at the centre.

Four Gospels, four audiences
Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John were written for different audiences. They are not typical biographies: about one third of each Gospel focuses on the cross — the most important event in history.
